After days of failed attempts to go to the pool (weather, sickness, etc), I finally got the kids ready and lathered in sunscreen to go... only to discover my car wouldn't crank. Dead battery... again!
We didn't give up. Sam and Jake drove their Ford (that worked, thank God) F-150 Power Wheel while I jogged behind to keep up... and we went to the pool anyway!
After being there for 15 minutes (it took at least 25-30 to get there!), BJ called to say the the wrecker would be there within an hour to pick the car up.... so I let them swim for a few more minutes only to load them back up and jog back home!
Again... not to be deterred, and to keep my little ones outside enjoying this humid-filled scorching heat - we got out the baby pool and the slip-n-slide and waited for the wrecker.
He was there pretty quickly after we got back - I was actually thinking we could hitch a ride if he came by us on the way home!!!!
He got right to work...
The boys watched...
Jake got distracted... Sam did not!

And that was THAT day!!!!OH! And FYI - the truck got fixed and was back to us the next day.... they covered it under warranty even though we were 4,000 miles past! YAY!!!
