The Beach 2010

We [finally] took the boys back to the beach! We didn't go last year (due to a trip to Disney World, so don't feel too bad for us!), so this was Jake's first time (that he remembers) going to the beach, and Sam barely remembered the last time! Needless to say - they were super excited... hence the countdown rings!

We went to Myrtle Beach because that's the only place we could find where we could take the campers and stay ON the beach! Mimi and Pop Pop went with us, which made it even MORE exciting!!! It was wonderful to be able to WALK [or drive the golf cart ;-)] to the beach! And the pool was fantastic as well.... camping really is soooo conducive to having kids! We absolutely LOVE it!!!!

I took over 1,000 pictures. I'm not exaggerating! So here is the first 'batch' of beach pics...

We're finally here!!!! It was after dinner time when we got there, so we loaded right back up and found us some yummy pizza for dinner. But the boys would not rest until they saw the ocean - so here is their first view of it (waaaay after bedtime, I might add!)

It's hard to tell, but they are DRENCHED, and COVERED in sand! They got stripped down and hosed off outside the camper! We made a great first impression with our neighbors, I am sure!!!

The next morning - right to work...
