Jake's 4th Birthday... #3

AT THE BEACH!!!!

We went to Seaside, FL to visit Opa and Ernie while they were vacationing, and celebrated Jake's birthday with them while we were there! What a way to celebrate!

Sam got some prizes too... Brandon and Mandy were laughing at the difference in their enthusiasm... Sam was quite sub-dued, while Jake was overflowing!!!!

Jake's 4th Birthday - #1...

AT THE FARM........

Today is Jake's actual birthday - and he is having a party at school... then we are headed to the beach soon, so he'll have another celebration there with Opa and Ernie! Spoiled kids!!! ;-)

But first, here is a recap of our weekend at the farm...
Jake and Sam both LOVE the farm - and it's really all they want to do for their birthdays!!! Soooo... here we are for another farm weekend!!!!

Sam had to show Jake how to use a lot of his toys... and he's a good aim... or is he!?!?!?

There were plenty of four-wheeler rides - and yes, Emma comes along... just like Sam and Jake did when they were babies!!!!

And then the big boys showed us what to do with old, un-needed pumpkins...

Yes, that is lighter fluid...

And a lighter...

And a flaming pumpkin...

But that's not enough...

Bye-bye pumpkin!!!!

And that was Jake's first celebration of his fourth birthday!!!! I am very sad that my littlest guy is growing up so fast, but I must say - I am enjoying them more and more the older they get!!! Except for this school thing - it gets in the way!!!! LOL!!!!

Sam's Visit to Opa and Ernie's

Sam went (a week after starting school) to visit Opa and Ernie for a weekend... he stayed 'in their house in the sky!' They live in a high rise condo in Midtown Atlanta... and Sam had a BLAST!!! I do believe Opa and Ernie enjoyed it too!!!!  They were busy doing all kinds of fun things all weekend! Thanks, Opa and Ernie, for such a FUN weekend! Sam talks about it all the time!

Here is Sam with Opa having morning coffee and getting caught up on the news/iPad games!!!! He gets the iPad itch/need very honest!!!! Then Ernie took Sam downstairs to Publix to get the fixin's for French Toast...

They rode MARTA all over Atlanta...

First to the Aquarium...

Then they went to the World of Coke (not pictured ;-), then they came home and went to the pool. Then back out to dinner - well, they rode the elevator down to eat at one of the yummy restaurants in their building... 

But I do believe this was their favorite time together....

Next time, I'M coming downtown!!!!! ;-)

Happy Father's Day!

And it was... for everyone!!!! We went to the lake, and had a fun family day! We just don't get enough of those!!!!! No more details necessary...  I'll move onto the pictures!!!!

Jake tried on Uncle Bo's new shorts.... he thought they were a touch big!?

Then they couldn't WAIT to go swimming!!! Problem: I didn't bring swim suits... NO PROBLEM... undies work JUST FINE!!!!

I just happen to have their tubes in the truck from our many adventures to the pool!

Yep... Jake jumped right in!

Sam eased in.... but he WANTED to swim!!! Last year, we had to MAKE him swim in the lake!!!

Jack couldn't help swimming (and rescuing everyone that splashed) too!!!!

The baby geese and their mommy came by for a visit too!

Tubing, of course!!! Jake LOVED it.... Sam wouldn't do it (shocker...), but I didn't force him this time!!!

He enjoyed the boat, although he only likes it to go slow..... I tried to explain that it's way too hot to go slow!!! And Pop Pop reminded him that he rides with me all the time and doesn't think THAT'S scary!?!?

Back to the tube...

Oops... they fell off!!!!

 It didn't phase Jake, though! He LOVED it!!!

Jack wasn't a fan of his daddy being in the water without him...

 But he wasn't a fan of the boat driving away without him either!!! hahahaha!!!!!

Sam was a good driver...

Jake loves the lake!

And what family function isn't complete without the pants down going teetee picture???

I LOVE that they both love the water!!!

When we weren't in the boat, this was Jake.... on repeat!!!!

Then it was time to go in and eat...

And of course Emma was there.... and we HAD to get some pictures of her in her pretty dresses!!!!

Happy Father's Day to BJ, Daddy, Dad2 and Bo.... I am so incredibly blessed by all of them!!!!!
