The Christmas Snow...

It was a winter wonderland... even at the lake!

So what do the boys want to do? Ride their 4-wheelers, of course!!!

Jack chased them too!

Sam even stopped to make snowballs!

As you can tell, it started melting away pretty quickly... but Sam still brought me some snow!

Jake kept making tracks...

I still just love their hats!

Then the next day... snow gone, and Bo's back in a t-shirt... although I think that a jacket was still a requirement!

Then Santa Came...

Their stockings are so big that most of their stuff fits inside!!!!!! But I still love their faces when they see for the first time what Santa brought...

Christmas at the Lake...

Christmas at my parents' (Mimi and Pop Pop's) is always an adventure!  This year, it was precursored by my grandmother being in the hospital since Thanksgiving and my parents being in Athens with her everyday.  Literally.  She came 'home' to their house the a week before Christmas, so they were able to get a few things done around the house - like put up a tree - absolutely AMAZING.... those two are!!!!  Right after Christmas, we (well, the BIG boys and Mama - Jen and I stayed at their house to babysit the SMALLER boys and Nanny) went right to work getting her moved from her retirement home in Athens to an assisted living home.... I know they are wiped out from taking care of her every need for the past month (plus), but they are steady as ever and have her settled into her new place - tonight will be her first night.

So.... with that little bit of background, let the pictures from Christmas commence...

Bo decided to take up the violin (see? never a dull moment!), so he serenaded us with Jingle Bells.... the boys were fascinated...

I just think it's funny that Bo is holding a little pink outfit here!  And do you see Sam in the background?  He's opening his tent - that we told him to wait to open!!!!!
